Please Pray!

My sister in law's fiance Monty Frazier... his nephew Luke is at T.C. Thompson. This is from their facebook page. Please keep this family in your prayers. God is good and he is the ultimate healer.

Lukas Michael Cook is the 4 year old son of Mike and Jodi Cook. As an infant, Luke had a shunt inserted in his head to control fluid build-up on his brain. On Sunday, he had surgery to replace this shunt do to complications. As of this moment he has not awakened from the surgery, and concerns are growing. Luke is a precious little boy, and he's fighting very hard. Please join me in prayer that God will intervene in this situation. I still believe He moves mountains when we pray.

Here's an update:

The physician's met with Mike, Jodi and Bryan. They expressed two major concerns as a result of going for a long period of time without oxygen due to the siezure.

First, the liver damage caused by the siezure, is important. They are hopeful that the liver will regroup and function as normal.

Next, permanent brain damage is a possibility. He is continuing to have smaller siezures and the lack of oxygen to the brain on Sunday morning for an extended period of time has cause this problem.

Today, please pray for the liver to regoup and the siezures to stop so that the dr's can assess and treat the issues. There are a whole lot of other smaller issues but these are the main problem areas.
